Program Manager Analyst – Dimensional Control
1. What project are you currently supporting, and
what is your role?
A: I currently support closure programs as a PMA Program Manager Analyst working in dimensional control.
In this role, I support the dimensional build strategy, including locating strategies from key product characteristics through sub-assemblies to full assemblies within closures to help ensure components are properly positioned and measurable throughout the manufacturing process.
2. What skill or experience do you bring that makes a difference in this project?
A: I’ve been with the company for over 14 years and started my career as a data analyst supporting dimensional validation.
For about 10 years, I traveled to plants across the country supporting engineering and manufacturing teams by collecting and organizing dimensional data used to evaluate part performance.
That experience helped me develop a strong understanding of how dimensional data supports engineering decisions in real production environments. Over the past few years, I’ve transitioned into dimensional engineering work on closures, where I apply that analytical background along with growing metrology knowledge to support locating strategies and measurement capability.
3. What do you enjoy most about working in manufacturing?
A: What I enjoy most is seeing how engineering, manufacturing, and quality come together to solve problems and build a product that meets high standards.
Being part of a team that works through dimensional challenges and helps ensure parts fit correctly and meet quality expectations throughout the development process is very rewarding
